Role Overview

The Business Sales Operations Manager will drive the commercial and operational backbone of Roshan’s sales strategy. This role combines sales leadership, operational efficiency, and data- driven decision-making to grow revenue, strengthen market presence, and maximize agent and partner performance. The role will work closely with marketing, logistics, and field sales teams to deliver measurable growth in both clean cooking and solar energy product lines.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership & Revenue Growth

  • Develop and execute annual and quarterly sales plans for cookstoves, briquettes, fire starters, and solar
  • Manage and optimize the performance of sales agents (Happy Feet), retail partners, and distributors.
  • Identify and pursue high-value B2B, institutional, and NGO procurement
  • Set sales targets, monitor performance, and drive achievement of monthly revenue goals.

Operations & Process Optimization

  • Design and implement efficient order-to-delivery processes, reducing lead times and maximizing customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee stock management and distribution planning to ensure consistent product availability.
  • Collaborate with logistics to streamline product movement to rural and urban markets.

Data & Performance Management

  • Build and maintain dashboards to track sales performance, agent productivity, and market trends.
  • Analyze sales data to identify growth opportunities and underperforming areas.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly sales reports for

Training & Capacity Building

  • Train and mentor sales agents, distributors, and key retail partners to improve sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer engagement.
  • Lead the rollout of incentive programs for sales teams.

Partnerships & Market Expansion

  • Identify and develop partnerships with NGOs, government agencies, microfinance institutions, and cooperatives to expand
  • Explore new markets for product introduction, including rural electrification and agro- processing

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, or related field.
  • 2+ years’ experience in sales operations, preferably in FMCG, renewable energy, or distribution networks.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales
  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing field sales teams.
  • Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, CRM, or sales tracking
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and negotiation
